Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation by an Employer or Employee

1.1.
An Employer or an Employee may cancel any Workspace bookings at any time by following the instructions via the WorkAbout Platform, in which case the Workspace shall immediately become available for booking by Users on the WorkAbout Platform and (subject to the rest of this paragraph 1) the Employer shall receive a full refund for that booking by us re-crediting the deducted amount into the Employer Budget in the Employer’s account.
1.2.
The Employer and the Employee will receive an automated email reminder for each booking at 5pm on the day before the booking is due to take place, which will remind the Employer and Employee that they are able to cancel the booking without any charge up until 6pm on the day before the booking is due to take place.
1.3.
If the Employer or Employee cancels the booking after 6pm on the day before the booking is due to take place, or on the day that the booking is due to take place, the Employer will not receive a refund for that booking and the price for the booking will be deducted from the Employer Budget in the Employer’s account and paid to the Space Provider (less any Commission or Administrative Fee that is payable to us) in the same way as if the booking had taken place.
1.4.
Any refunds due to a cancellation by an Employer or an Employee shall be re-credited into the Employer Budget in the Employer’s account.

2. Cancellation by a Space Provider

2.1.
A Space Provider may cancel any bookings at any time and for any reason by following the instructions via the WorkAbout Platform, in which case the cost of the booking will be recredited to the Employer Budget in the Employer’s account and the amount for the booking will not be credited to the Space Provider’s account.
2.2.
If a Space Provider cancels any booking within 72 hours before the confirmed start time for the booking, the Space Provider shall pay to us a cancellation charge (plus VAT) which shall be an amount equal to 50% of the amount that was due to be paid by the Employer for that booking (which shall be in addition to the amount to be recredited to the Employer Budget in the Employer’s account for that booking).
2.3.
If a Space Provider cancels any booking within 24 hours before the confirmed start time for the booking, the Space Provider shall pay to us a cancellation charge (plus VAT) which shall be an amount equal to the amount that was due to be paid by the Employer for that booking (which shall be in addition to the amount to be recredited to the Employer Budget in the Employer’s account for that booking).
2.4.
If the Space Provider has to pay to us any cancellation charges in accordance with paragraphs 2.2 or 2.3, we shall be entitled to either:
2.4.1.
deduct any such amounts from any future monthly payments that are due to be paid by us to the Space Provider; or
2.4.2.
send an invoice to the Space Provider for any such refunds or cancellation charges, which the Space Provider shall pay within 30 days of receipt of the invoice.
